Legends of Roxbury: Celebration of the Haynes Family
Roxbury Community College celebrated the legacy of Roxbury’s legendary Haynes Family by hosting a celebration in their honor on November 9. 2019.
The program recognized the lives of the four sons of the Haynes family —Douglas, Vincent, Roy, and Michael — who have edified and enriched the Roxbury community for nearly a century. Guitarist Pat Metheny performed to honor his dear friend Roy and his family.
Funds raised from the memorable occasion established a Haynes Family scholarship for RCC Students.
